Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and singer. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series The Goldbergs.' Her primary focus is as the performer. Music, according to her, is first thing she enjoys. She started playing with it at age nine. At the age of 12 the world of music had become serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she took the plunge into songwriting and made her debut album. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia was born in America but with Hispanic ancestry. She is proud of the fact that she has Hispanic origins, although she was raised speaking English only and never lived in Mexico. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia got selected out of a YouTube video and was awarded the judges' four "yes" vote from the judge during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were grouped in the final auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live performance.
