Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21, 2012 that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion following the departure of Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors quit the show. Moffat chose her for the role as she performed most effectively with Smith and was able to talk more quickly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model.
