Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actor most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. That same year, she made her debut album, It's time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise received the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she signed to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
