Sharni Vison, dancer and Australian-American actor was born in Sydney Australia on 22nd July 1983. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her performance in that limited role was so fascinating that the casting agent of the show wanted her to play the main role in the series. The actress was able to audition, but not receive the job. In the same episode, Cassie Turner was chosen to play an unruly teenage girl who was placed who was in foster care.
